Our commitment
Adelaide Pharmacy is committed to making adelaidepharmacy.net usable for everyone, in line with WCAG 2.1 AA. This includes people who use keyboards, screen readers, zoom, or high-contrast settings.
Visiting the pharmacy
Our premises at Adelaide Health Centre offer:
- Wheelchair access and a step-free entrance
- An accessible toilet
- Disabled parking and on-site parking (centre parking arrangements can change; check current signage)
- Seating in the pharmacy area
- A private consultation room for confidential discussions
Staff language support is provided in English. Formal interpreter arrangements are not currently listed; please call 023 8077 7502 if you need help arranging your visit.
What we do online
- Semantic headings, labels and buttons
- Keyboard access to shop, account, booking and forms
- Colour contrast that meets AA for body text and primary actions
- Alternative text on meaningful images
- A layout that works from mobile through to desktop
Known limitations
Third-party embeds — for example Google Maps on the contact page and Stripe payment fields — are outside our full control and may not meet every WCAG criterion. We keep these to the pages where they are needed.
Some older PDF leaflets (if linked from a service) may not be fully tagged. Ask us for an accessible alternative.
Requesting help
If you find a barrier, email pharmacy.fwe94@nhs.net or call 023 8077 7502. Tell us the page and what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within 5 working days and will offer another way to complete the task (phone, in person, or a different format) where we can.
