Who we are
Adelaide Pharmacy Ltd (GPhC 1104564, NHS FWE94) operates adelaidepharmacy.net. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in our pharmacy at The Adelaide Health Centre, William Macleod Way, Southampton SO16 4XE.
What we collect
- Name, email, phone and delivery address when you register, checkout or book a service
- Order, booking and payment-status history (we never store full card numbers)
- Health information when you submit a new or repeat prescription or pharmacist review — this is special category data under UK GDPR Article 9
- Cookie and analytics preferences, with your consent — see our Cookie Policy
How we use your data
We process your data to fulfil orders, manage bookings, handle repeat prescriptions, verify age where required, and meet pharmacy professional and legal duties. Health data is processed only with your explicit consent or another lawful basis (for example a legal obligation to keep clinical records).
Sharing
We share information only where needed: Stripe for payments, your GP practice for repeat authorisation, NHS systems where a service requires it, and professional regulators if we are legally required to. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of your data. Submit a request on our data rights form or email pharmacy.fwe94@nhs.net. We respond within one calendar month after we have verified your identity.
Health records may be anonymised rather than deleted where pharmacy law requires an audit trail.
Retention
- Shop orders and invoices: 6 years
- Repeat prescription and clinical records: 8 years (or longer if the law requires)
- Marketing and cookie consent: until you withdraw it
